Chuck was simply wonderful at Chicago. At the begining of the convention, people were asking who is this guy...by Saturday night, just about everyone was in love with him. He was so warm and personable with everyone. We even got to see his bellybutton, not once, but twice! Yes, he had to force his tummy to stick out like that. Chuck did not have the belly on him like that naturally! Chuck mentioned more than once about the website you guys started for him. You can tell by the tone in his voice that he was geniuely touched, flattered and surprised especially since his role is so small onscreen with Atlantis. And Chuck loves baseball! Oh yes! The convention orgnaizers managed to get him tickets to a game Sunday at Wriggly Stadium. Wriggly stadium has alot of baseball history to it so for Chuck to be able to say he watch a game at Wriggly Stadium is a big thing for a baseball addict!

If you ever get a chance to get a photo op with Chuck, go for it. He makes it soooooooo worth it! His was my most favorite photo op next to David Nykl's. Chuck personally greets everyone. Women get a hug, men get a handshake...my friend isn't a huggy person so she told Chuck no hug. He was okay with it except the look he gave everyone else, you knew he was up to something. Chuck's got very expressive eyes... The photographer got ready to take the pic and just as he took the pic, Chuck planted a big kiss on her cheek - and this is what happened. Posted with Gatewhales permission. She was not expecting the kiss. I was laughing my a$$ off, it was sooooooo funny - everyone in the room pretty much lost it. After Chuck kissed her, he jumped back really fast and looked at everyone with this really cute, what me, did I do something wrong look. I think he moved fast incase she reacted by slapping him....she didn't. She didn't realize that she actually got a kiss from Chuck at first. My photo op came after hers. I was still laughing really hard, I'm not kidding I was practially on the floor with tears in my eyes....I told Chuck I wanted a hug and he willing obliged. Sorry, I'm not comfortable posting my pic on the internet but here's Chuck's half *grins* I couldn't get spoiler tags to work, sorry.

Chuck was really cool. He joined us in the evening in the lobby for some drinks. He is a really down to earth, nice guy. Loves to talk, really loves to talk and mingle with fans. We gave him a raspberry beer and he seemed to like it. We found out that Chuck is a baseball fanatic! He loves baseball and the organizers were able to get him tickets to a Chicago cubs game in Wriggly stadium on Sunday. Chuck really really wanted to see a game in Wriggly stadium. He got his wish and it was a lovely day for him to watch a game! He talked how disappointed everyone was about the cancellation which happened basically days before the convention. But as he says, it's all part of the business. They know it will happen one day. He asked who was on stage on Sunday and we told him David Nykl and Ben Browder. I was amazed, his posture changed slightly and he sincerely told us how much we would love David, he must have said that about two or three times. He said David was really nice and very intellegent! He proceeded to tell us a few fun David stories. It's just really nice hearing co-workers talk about other co-workers in a high regard.
They showed fifolle's video that features Chuck just before Chuck went on stage.
It was kind of funny, I did a music video for David and one of the clips featured Chuck. My music video was shown on Sunday so this was after Chuck had been on Stage Friday at the Caberat and Saturday for his Q&A. When Chuck came on screen, people around me, I could hear them going "Oh wow, that's Chuck"

Oh yeah fififolle, they showed your video. It was cute, everyone loved Chuck the DJ... Im guessing they are going to show it again in New Jersey this weekend. Chucks got a convention this weekend. It so cool to be able to do something like this for your favorite actor!
