Well, in Allies he got a rank, now he's got a name. What's next for the techie? A storyline of his own???  I think we should all write to the studio and demand a Chuck episode!  ;D |

Yeah I think we need to see a episode where Chuck saves the day, that would be pretty cool. Or Chuck falling in love with some strange alien awwww. Or Chuck being infected by some weird alien and deciding to take over the whole base! *grins* We have loadsa plans!

oh i like the "chuck saves the day" idea makes a change from Mckay.

Yeah a storyline that doesnt involve the gate technician getting killed off in some freak accident! I' d like to see him go off world... that would be pretty cool!

He could have been great in Sunday...maybe that was the tuba scene they filmed and never used?  I dunno, probably not......But he needs to get some action off world |

I do think they are going to start using him more. He seems to be getting more and more lines, and TPTB do listen to the fans (apart from where Carson was concerned!!). They must know how popular Chuck is, or they will now after Pegasus 2!! ;D

If only the tuba thing had been used - was that just written or actually filmed? I thought he said the former at the con but now I'm not so sure.
Would be cool to have him used more, like going offworld - could lead to the amusing situation where a gate tech is scared of going through the gate - like what if he's only ever done it four times... (Once in Rising, twice for the Storm evacuation of Atlantis and then again in the S3 mid season) and isn't fond of it.
But isn't Chuck going to be in that new show, Sanctuary? Wonder if that might mean they can't give him too much more on SGA. Besides which he has his stand in duties as well.
Still, we needs a surname at least and more lines!

I think it was filmed, but never used. I think he said it might have been a joke, but he does't know....LOL.
As for Sanctuary, he is on the main page, but how extensive his role is....we'll find out. I signed up to "participate" (whatever that means) so I'll use my one lousy vote to give him more screentime.
I think he could handle both, but I am greedy and want more Chuck!

I'd like to see him off world, and to find out a bit more about him & the life he left behind back home to become a member of the Atlantis Expedition - Like why/how he got chosen to be a techie on the team... And, why he became a member of the USAF... (?)...

Apparently is CF - Canadian Forces, and if he was in the air force (which seems to be the go in Stargate), he'd be a part of the Canadian Forces Air Command, and is a Sergeant (which is a rank only in the Air Force or Land Force).
Wikipedia is handy.
