Well, not sure how this came about really, but I just thought the character Sergeant Cole in the SGA episode "Michael" was particularly interesting. And his official photo... www.imdb.com/gallery/hh/0152356/hssm.jpg.htmlMore episode comments below.... Season 2 spoilers!!!! So it turns out he's a Stunts Canada guy, like BamBam, and has been in a few shows and films. So before I know it I'm making a Wikipedia page for the guy, and being the pedant that I am, I end up researching some of the roles, as imdb is not always perfect. I saw his award-nominated stunt in Freddy vs. Jason yesterday and although Doug Chapman must clearly be deranged to do such crazy things, I was well impressed ;D He mainly seems to do acting roles where someone needs to die horribly or shoot a big gun ;D I am just hoping BamBam gets invited to Pegasus 3 and brings Doug to throw around And now the Seaon 2 spoilers... Yeah, Carson and Elizabeth were pretty cut up about his death in "Michael", and Teyla knew him by name and so on, I just thought he was... well, it was a shame he got killed
And he's cute with blue eyes.

Well, I would... but I'm too shy. Wouldn't it be nice to see him smile in full technicolor, though? It must be hard to smile when you are shooting baddies, being strangled, falling off fire-engines, etc...

Random trivia - Doug Chapman was in a film starring Will Ferrell (Elf) and Chuck Campbell has been in a film with Will too (Superstar)!! Amazing. I'll get my coat.

I'm so excited! The Wikipedia page I made for Doug Chapman has made 'Start' class biography status! (This is pretty cool, you'll just have to trust me... ) Guess I'd better work a bit harder on Chuck's page, huh?

Doug Chapman (as well as Aaron Douglas and Ben Cotton) will be in The Day The Earth Stood Still out on 12.12.08 I s'pose I'll be there with bells on It's my kind of film anyhow New photo of Doug at Stunts Canada. www.stuntscanada.com/memberprofile.php?m=48So, what do you reckon my chances are that BamBam will make it to P4 and smuggle Doug in his suitcase? Hmm, thought so...

Thank you ava!! Yes, a rather dangerous and hazardous job. I admire them greatly. It was brilliant to meet James Bamford at Pegasus 4. Stunt performance really takes a toll on their bodies, though.

You're welcome Yup, it is one hell of a job.. I became interested after watching the Stunt Awards. I was taken aback ... really. I wish public could apreciate them and how good they are! Im myself a fan of Mike Dopud, another stunt turned actor from Canada
