I'm so excited!!! I've got tickets to see The Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain. It's only 20 days away!!!! They are hilarious and wonderful and this will be the third time I've seen them. Never heard of them? Wondering what a ukulele orchestra is?! Um.... try this.... The Good,The Bad, and The Ugly as you've never heard it before...

I bet it would be fun to see them, though. I like unusual, non mainstream music. Do they have a website by any chance? I have a concert that I'm going to be going to, that I'm really excited about myself. One of my favorite bands is Maroon 5 and I'm going to see them next month. I can't wait!!! I'm a member of their fanclub, so I got my ticket five days before the general public and my seat is in the tenth row!!! It's in a big arena type place, so I'm very happy not to have a seat in the nosebleed section for once!!! SQUEEEEEEE!!!!

Maroon 5?!? Wow. That would be too cool!! I doubt if they'll come within a million miles of where I live, hahaha. You'll have to tell us all about it! Well, that was different. I bet it would be fun to see them, though. I like unusual, non mainstream music. Do they have a website by any chance? Yeah, it's here... www.ukuleleorchestra.com/main/home.aspxIt's the only place you can buy their new album - I think they are a bit like McKay - their genius is too much for most people Their MySpace page is pretty good - www.myspace.com/ukuleleorchestra - you can listen to their version of 'Leaning on a Lampost'

The Maroon 5 concert was last night and it was absolutely FREAKIN' AWESOME!!!!! And seriously, Adam Levine might possibly be the hottest man to ever live in the history of all human kind. I knew he was good looking, but I never realized what a nice body he has, especially his arms. He was wearing a short sleeved t-shirt and let me just say, I'm very proud of myself for managing to not drool copiously. I was in the tenth row, which was pretty good to begin with, but then when I got there and saw how the stage was set up it was even better. They had the main stage up front with two platforms on each side that extended out into the audience and I was only five seats in from the aisle, so I was pretty close to the one on the right side. My one and only regret is that I didn't sneak in a camera. I was being a wuss because I was afraid that security would take my camera if they caught me with it, but there were people all over the place with cameras and cell phones with cameras. ARGH!!!!!!!! I think I'll probably be kicking myself for the rest of my life for that!!!!!!!! I could've gotten some really good pictures from where I was because they weren't that far from me. If they ever come back here on tour again, I'm definitely going to get the sound check ticket they offer to fan club members. It gets you into the sound check and the chance to meet the band. The only reason I didn't do it this time is because I couldn't afford to, since I went to Chicago for a con. Next time, I'm going to do it no matter what, even if I have to sell one of my organs on the black market to afford it. They're that good. It would be worth it. LOL Otherwise, it was a great show, they had a great setup on the stage with lots of really cool lights, and they music was of course awesome, and I'm an even bigger fan now than I was before I saw them.

Well done for only drooling slightly ;D Where you were sitting sounded utterly brilliant I know what you mean about cameras. I foolishly asked if pictures were allowed at the last gig I was at, and they said no, but the guy in front of me snapped a few times. Very frustrating, but at least we have the moral highground

Oh, and I have to say, the Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain were utterly awesome We had a fab time, the four of us, the kids really enjoyed it, the wee girl was tired but she was screaming and clapping at the end like crazy. We got to talk to them all afterwards and I got their autographs. I was a bit idiot tongue-tied but managed to tell Dave Suich his song on the new album was great, then I spoke to Will Grove-White (SOOOO handsome close up ) and told him his song was the best on the album. I was heading for Jonty Bankes to get his autograph when I felt a tap on the shoulder and heard 'Excuse me?' and it was OMG DAVE AND WILL wanting me to clarify exactly which song on the album was best My fangirl brain melted of course. Will told me to tell Jonty that his song was the best so they could have a good argument about it later What a good night! Um... if I had to sell an organ to meet them again... illegal here, but yeah, sure, why not? ;D

I freely admit that I'm an obsessed fangirl, but not quite that much. Glad to hear you had such a good time at your concert as well. I still need to check out that link you gave me in the previous post. I watched the video, but haven't gotten around to the website yet. I liked what I've heard so far, so I'd like to hear more.
