I've just got back from London after seeing Bryan Adams for the second time. (First time at Althorp House 2006). Wembley Arena Friday 11th March, all I need to post is two words FRAKKING AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!That man knows how to ROCK. He was on top form, his band where fantastic. New album out in the summer, so I guess he'll have to tour again to promote it. I know where I'll be when that happens, at the front rocking the night away.

Oh, nice one Wend! I am totally jealous. Since the kids came along I haven't been to many gigs, but we've discovered family-friendly music festivals where we can take the kids too, see great bands, and have a fabby time Last year I saw Seth Lakeman and The Proclaimers and the year before we got to see Nerina Pallot and The Undertones Next week we'll get to see The Peatbog Faeries I can't wait! Kilts, bagpipes, trombones...

Where you dancing to 500 miles then. CON style. I have no more gigs lined up this year, but am keeping my eyes open for any I might go to. My first gig ever was the "Freddie Mercury Tribute" at Wembley Stadium. (If you don't include standing outside St James Park in Newcastle in 1985 listening to Queen, I was still at school so had no money to get ticket) I've seen Def Leppard, Queen & Paul Rodgers, George Michael. Robbie Williams 3 times, Bon Jovi and Bryan Adams twice. Looking at going to see Bryan again as "NEW" album usually means "TOUR" to promote it. ;D

You've seen Bon Jovi and Bryan adams! No fair! I've seen The Saw Doctors , Girls Aloud, Britany Spears and Bryan McFadden but the best so far has to be Russell Watson.

Where you dancing to 500 miles then. CON style. Hey! I think I remember that one! There might have been room at the side for all that I must admit, seeing them was rather nostalgic and I enjoyed jumping up and down a lot, but nothing could beat the vocals of Seth Lakeman that weekend. Def Leppard is probably the most awesome gig I ever went to. Or Heart, I adored them. (Oops, showing age here) I'd love to see The Saw Doctors When I lived in Aberdeen we used to go and see Runrig and Del Amitri every year I miss gigs!!! Really looking forward to the weekend!

I have never been to a gig then or since that has had the atmosphere of the Saw doctors they were definatley an experience Right then Angie, Bryan is still touring this year so there's still time dude. And Bon Jovi are at the O2 (The DOme) as well soon, but tickets are anywhere from £50 to £100. I will keep an eye out on Bryan as he is bringing an album out in the summer (if he does not keep changing it as he said at the gig). So that to me means MORE touring. ;D You will be coming with me next time.

Shepley Festival was quite good. The Peatbog Faeries were last gig on the Sunday we stayed as late as we dared, got home at about 2am The 3 Daft Monkeys were pretty good, and I enjoyed Shona Kipling and Damien O'Kane, and Parallelogram. The guy who sings the Sharpe theme tune was there, John Tams. All in all, much fun was had, much Shepley ale was drunk, and there's nothing like live music ;D

I don't think he friended me Maybe I did it wrong. Never mind. I just found out today that Gary Moore is playing the Maryport Blues festival. Wow. I loved that guy's guitar playing. I want to go! It's forty quid on the Friday night! Van Morrison is playing on the Saturday but I'm not so fussed about Van The Man, and besides, I've got my Anniversary romantic night out in Newcastle booked then
