I have watched the first 2 episodes of this but never really got into it, so you lot need to persuade me to watch it. It's got Aaron in it so that's one reason to watch it. ;D Keep looking at buying the DVD's but keep putting it off.

It's also the best bit of sci-fi writing I have ever seen it cuts so close to the bone it can only be brilliant! definatley take the time to watch it, trust me you will love it That's the reason to watch it - It's the bravest, most contemporary show... Every bit as worthy of accolade as its classmates 24, Nip/Tuck, Lost, and that other terrorist cell series Sky One had on recently (title anyone??)... It's scifi, but I forget, half the time, that I'm watching a space opera... Apart from the occasional siting of a big metal robot! Not that, if the scifi element is a must for you, you won't see it... You will; It's just impossible to explain everything that's so brilliant about it to someone who hasn't watched it... It's difficult enough to put into words among fellow fans - And that's not, in anyway, a fancy way of saying it's fanciful and whimsy... I've never seen such solidly wonderful, brave, all inclusive, no element glossed over, handling of every topic BSG deals with... All the way around, they've got everything they tackle completely covered (!)... There's no weak link! Bethany xxxxxxxxxxxx

Hey wabit Just to say, I was a bit like you, and I got given the pilot and Season 1 for Christmas, and I still didn't start watching it almost the end of January... I have to say though, and actually, I'm still only on episode eight, but it has been pretty riveting stuff. Seeing Ryan Robbins in the pilot was well worth it, and Aaron was my favourite even before Pegasus 2 Just the whole thing is great, so get stuck in quick! I still bet you'll finish Season 1 before me

Ok I've watched the first 5 in season one box set. It's slowly growing on me, just watched the one were Starbuck (still can't get used to Starbuck being a women) gets shot down and manages to fly the Cylon ship back. Nice with the name on the wings. ;D

Ok so not got any further with this as I've been doing 12 hour shifts at work. And this weekend I'm moving a washing machine and double bed into my flat, so I will be sleeping most of this weekend. I have ordered season 2 off Ebay so will have a major BSG weekend soon.
