where is the thistle??? *rofl* :-) :-) :-) Oh, steph, you took the words right out of my mouth! Is THIS what I have to look forward to this weekend??!!! Uh... yes, I'm afraid so. Actually, I don't know where it is. I only know that a bus goes from the terminal to there Apparently a Hoppa bus will take you free to Bath Road but only so far, or you can pay the money and get closer? Check out the LJ comms for travel info ;D

Travel advice for newbies or those who want to spend money on photo ops more than buses:Whatever you do, if you can walk 5 minutes don't get the Hoppa. It costs £4 each way. If you leave from the main bus station at Heathrow you can get the local bus for free. Free buses which go to the Thistle are the U3, 75 76 and 50. Ask the driver for Hatch Lane if you don't know where to go. It's the last stop of the free section so he'll gladly throw you off Here's a map with both Hatch lane and the Thistle: www.streetmap.co.uk/newmap.srf?x=505889&y=177410&z=1&sv=hatch+lane&st=6&tl=Hatch+Lane,+West+Drayton,+Middlesex,+UB7&searchp=newsearch.srf&mapp=newmap.srf Once there cross the main road and turn left before you hit McDonalds, the Thistle is on your left. See ya there ;D

Thanks kdj - excellent advice!!! I'm coming from the middle of London by underground, so I get off at Hounslow West and take the #81 bus straight to the door of the Thistle ;D See you tonight everyone!!!! (So, who's manning the shop while we're all away? LOL)
